INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Policy Jungle!

This is a resource for students and teachers that aims to involve students in the policy-making process. If you are able to take part in decisions about policies, you need to understand both the process and some background. So, here are five examples of policy areas within a school. In exploring the policy jungle, have a look at these to understand how policies affect you, how they have been formed, what information you need to know and how you can take part in making and shaping policies.
