  Recent and current professional activities:
As Science Education Specialist, I am into research, curriculum development and teacher training. Since 2001, I have been co-ordinating the research on the Learners' Perspective Study in the Philippines. I also co-ordinate a study comparing the teaching of High School Mathematics III and IV by users and non-users of teachers' resource materials developed through the Philippines-Australia Science and Mathematics Education Project (PASMEP). As a member of the High School Mathematics writing team, I am presently writing two chapters of a sourcebook for teachers which is due to come out in 2003. Recently, I taught a unit on problem solving in a one-month inservice training course for mathematics teachers. I am now developing training materials for a three-day course on the use of technology in mathematics teaching.
